Mia is a Level 3 Pilates instructor and professional dancer. She was introduced to Pilates during her studies at The Boston Conservatory and it completely transformed her dance practice. She has been teaching dance for 8 years, focusing on contemporary, ballet and dance for over 60s.
She is passionate about sharing her love for movement and now teaches Pilates alongside her dance career. Her Pilates classes focus on using movement as a tool to help you feel strong, powerful and joyful. She uses creative flows set to music, to help empower her students at whatever stage of Pilates they’re at, from beginner to advanced. She has an acute understanding of anatomy, biomechanics and somatic practices, which are all integrated into her class plans. You can expect to feel challenged, have fun and leave her classes feeling energised and invigorated.
