We’ve been running sold out Yoga beginners courses every 6 weeks since we opened in September 2014 and are most proud of this achievement – many of those people who attended now have yoga in their lives for good.
Our next 6 week Yoga Beginners course with Todd Taylor starts on 10th of January, Thursdays 8-9:15pm
This course will give you an introduction to some of the fundamental yoga poses concentrating on healthy alignment and establishing a deeper awareness of your breathing. Instruction in meditation and relaxation techniques will also be given. Some of the many benefits of yoga include: improvement in posture and breathing, increased tone, strength and flexibility, a greater ability to cope with stress and a feeling of calm. This course creates a strong and safe foundation from which you can then investigate the different styles of yoga in any of the Level One classes at Down to Earth.
Our next 5 week Pilates Beginners course with Todd starts on 12th of January, Saturdays 5-6:15pm.
This course will look in detail at the way we use our bodies and how we can incorporate Pilates into our everyday lives and exercise plans. Once completed, students will be able to comfortably join in to regular Pilates L1 classes at Down to Earth. Please note that because of Christmas this course is 5 weeks long but lessons are 75 mins each (as opposed to being 6 weeks long and 60 mins per class).

Please wear comfortable clothes for your classes. You do not need to bring anything as we provide mats and props though you’re of course welcome to bring your own mat.
