Weights

Lifting weights doesn’t replace yoga, Pilates or other forms of movement — it complements them. Strength training helps build the physical resilience needed to move well, stay active and support the body through everyday life.

Whatever your age, gender or fitness level, regular resistance training can improve strength, balance, mobility and overall confidence in movement. It can also help maintain muscle mass and bone density as we age, support joint health, improve posture and stability, and enhance performance in yoga, Pilates, running and other sports.

Strength training is also associated with wider health benefits, including improved cardiovascular and metabolic health, better blood sugar control and support for long-term brain health and wellbeing.

Our weights-based classes are inclusive and designed to make strength training accessible, effective and progressive, whether you are completely new to lifting or looking to build on an existing practice.

Teachers

Our weights team brings years of experience across strength training, fitness and movement. Many have backgrounds in personal training, coaching and other movement disciplines, bringing expert knowledge, strong technique and thoughtful teaching to every class.
