Terms & Conditions

WAIVER

All clients are required to sign our Waiver through their Momence account before attending any classes or treatments. It is each client’s responsibility to ensure they have read, understood, and signed the waiver, and that they are in a suitable state of health to safely participate in their chosen class, event or treatment.

GENERAL

Clients are required to give notice to us of any change of email address or telephone number. Failing such notice, all communications will be assumed to have been received by the Member within five days of emailing to the last email address provided notified to the Company.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to the Studio

Classes are non refundable.

HEALTH, PARTICIPATION AND LIABILITY

Clients are responsible for ensuring they are fit and able to participate safely in any class, exercise programme or treatment. If you have concerns about your health or physical condition, you should seek medical advice before taking part.

Clients must inform their teacher or therapist of any relevant injury, medical condition, pregnancy or suspected pregnancy, or if they have given birth within the previous three months.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop participation where we reasonably believe it may pose a risk to the client’s health or safety.

Participation in physical activity carries inherent risks. Clients should follow instructions, work within their own abilities and stop immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, discomfort or feel unwell.

Down to Earth is not responsible for loss, damage or injury arising from the inherent risks of participation. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Unless otherwise stated, our regular classes, workshops, courses and treatments are available to clients aged 18 and over.

We also offer selected sessions specifically designed for children and young people. These will be clearly identified in the session name or description, for example Parent & Child Yoga or Teen Yoga.

In some circumstances, clients aged 16–17 may be permitted to attend certain regular classes or treatments. Please contact us in advance for further information and approval.

CONCESSIONS AND INCLUSIVITY

Down to Earth is committed to being an inclusive and welcoming community studio. If you have a disability, accessibility requirement or need any reasonable adjustments to access our services, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

We offer a 15% concession discount on class packs for full-time students, people of State Pension age and those who are unemployed. Proof of eligibility may be required.

Concession discounts apply to class packs only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

PAYMENT

Payment for classes, workshops, courses and treatments must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

Online payments are processed securely through Momence using Stripe. We accept most major debit and credit cards.

We do not accept cash payments.

All prices and any applicable charges will be clearly shown before payment is completed. All prices are subject to change.

CLASS BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

Regular classes are drop-in, but spaces are limited, so advance booking is recommended. Bookings must be paid for in advance.

Classes are non-refundable.

Classes must be cancelled at least 5 hours before the start time. Eligible cancellations will be credited back to your Momence account. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged in full, and a £10 no-show fee may apply.

If a class is cancelled by Down to Earth, the class credit will be returned to your Momence account. No credit is due for customers on an unlimited monthly membership.

Please arrive on time. Once a class has started, your place may be offered to another customer if you are late.

Regular classes are for ages 18+.

PREGNANCY

Classes are not suitable during the first trimester. Pregnancy Yoga is available during the second and third trimesters. Clients over 12 weeks pregnant with an established practice may attend selected regular classes at the teacher’s discretion; please contact us in advance to find out which classes are included.

TREATMENTS

Treatments must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

INTRODUCTORY OFFERS

Introductory offers are available to new customers only and may be used once per person.

If we reasonably believe that an introductory offer has been used more than once, or that a customer has created multiple accounts to access the offer repeatedly, we reserve the right to cancel the offer, charge the standard rate and/or restrict access to the studio.

WORKSHOPS AND COURSES

Workshops and Courses must be booked in advance and paid for in full. Places are offered on a first come, first served basis and can be booked online or at the studio.

Courses may be cancelled up to 14 days before the start date, and Workshops up to 7 days before the start date. Where cancellation is made within these notice periods, the value of the booking can remain on your Down to Earth account for future use.

Bookings may also be transferred to another person. Please contact us in advance to arrange this.

To cancel, amend or transfer a booking, please call us on 020 7018 7657. Cancellations cannot be accepted by email.

LATE ARRIVAL

Please arrive at least five minutes before your session is due to start.

For safety and to avoid disrupting classes, workshops and courses latecomers will not be admitted once these have started. Any unclaimed spaces may be offered to other customers, even where the class has been booked and paid for in advance.

Please note that reception may close promptly at the session start time.

WAITING LISTS

If a class, course or workshop is fully booked, you can join the waiting list. If a space becomes available, you will be notified automatically by email.

You may be moved into a class up to two hours before it starts. Once you have been allocated a place, our usual five-hour class cancellation policy applies.

For early morning classes, if you no longer wish to be moved into the class at short notice, please remove yourself from the waiting list before going to bed.
